We accept the following methods of payment for purchases made online at Candles and Extras.

Here at Candles and Extras, instore or online your security is our highest priority so all payments are processed through Worldpay UK. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.
All prices are (where applicable) inclusive of VAT at the rate appropriate to the country of receipt at the time the VAT is applied, where within the EU, and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system.
Credit Card Validation
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at our checkout stage. In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the 3D Secure authentication. At all times where we disclose your information, it will remain secure.
PAYMENTS BY PALPAL ECHECK
Please note if paying for goods via Pay Pal echeck we cannot dispatch goods until the echeck has cleared had we are in receipt of funds.
All orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday will be delivered the next working day. Any orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Monday and Tuesday respectively as this will be the next working day. We will despatch all orders within 24hrs of being placed by our courier DPD. Please note these times may vary at certain times of the year when there are very busy shopping periods. DPD will always email or send a message via SMS when they are due to deliver.
If you’re not at home to collect a DPD delivery, DPD will leave you a card, telling you they tried to deliver. Please follow the instructions on the card to arrange for re-delivery. If the item is not successfully delivered after a third attempt DPD will hold onto the parcel for a further seven days before returning to ourselves. If you wish to have it redelivered, the customer will have to pay the delivery costs again, or accept refund minus any delivery charges already occurred.
DPD will contact you twice prior to your delivery date, If you would like to specify a safe place or a particular neighbour for your parcel to be left with, please add these instructions by replying to the text or email from DPD. You may also add some additional information to help the courier find your delivery address at this point.
Returns & Refunds
If you are not entirely happy with your products, you may return them to us within 10 working days of receipt of your order. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange as long as the item(s) are returned in perfect condition and in the original package unused. Our Delivery Charges cannot be refunded.
If you wish to return any items to us, please be aware that you (the customer) are responsible for any postage costs connected to this if this was not an error on our behalf. If the returned items do not make it back to us we will require proof of postage before a refund can be issued. Please do not return any item to us before contacting us via email to inform us of any return.
On receipt of your email regarding return we shall send you either a pre-paid returns label if this was our error. If it was not our error we shall send you a returns label which you will need to pay the postage for.
Damaged Items: Claim Procedure
- Claims for items damaged on delivery must be made within 7 days of receipt of the package.
- Contact us via the contact us link at the top of the website to let us know about the damaged item.
- Do not return the item without us first advising you to do so.
- keep all the original packaging.
- Do not dispose of the item unless we instruct you to do so as we often need a photograph of the item to claim against the carrier, or we might ask you to return the item to us at our expense.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders at any time or where product information has been miss-published, including prices and promotions. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the order now button. We reserve the right to cancel an order. Cancellation of an order may, for a few examples, result from one of the following:
- The product ordered being unavailable from stock.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment.
- The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion.
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations before your order has been dispatched.

You are permitted to use our website for your own purposes and to print material from this Website provided that you do not modify any content without our consent. Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website are owned by our licensors or us and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.
Images on this website have been taken or paid for by Candles and Extras.
Forbidden use or exploitation of text, images or content of this website is specifically not permitted.
Forbidden use will result in legal action.
All purchases are made in acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Candles and Extras cannot be held responsible for any delays, such as postal strikes, Holidays, which are wholly outside our control. We do occasionally update these terms so please refer back to them in the future.
